Cable Side Exit Lock Cable Grippers For Grid Ceiling , Suspended Ceiling Hangers
Wire gripper top fitting attaches securely to suspended ceiling grid.
The height of the wire can be adjusted with ease because the ceiling fitting has a
releasable wire grip mechanism. It works like a ratchet device which can be released
for accurate height adjustment at the push of a button.
Quick to attach to or remove from ceiling and easy to adjust.
Excess cable comes out of the side of the ceiling fitting and can
be cut off once the finished height is decided.
Suitable for suspending signs, banners, decorations, hanging displays etc.
Ideal for displaying displaying signage or visual merchandising underneath

Please ensure the suspended ceiling grid is capable of carrying the additional load
created by the sign or banner being hung. Suspended ceilings are only designed to
accept limited additional loads. They may need reinforcing by introducing extra hanging
wires above the ceiling tiles, secured to the structural roof void above the suspended ceiling.
Cable Gripper Design
Within each cable gripper is a plunger that a cable slides through. There are three balls
that surround the outside diameter of the cable as it passes through the gripper. When
weight is applied to the gripper when mounted, the tension forces the balls to grab the
cable in a pinching movement. In normal operation the more the tension, the more the
gripping. Some grippers come with a safety nut that locks the movement in both directions
eliminating the potential for a release if the plunger is accidentally depressed by an end user.
